Program Educational Objectives (PEO):

PEO1: Provide socially responsible and environment-friendly safety practices to identify, evaluate, and control industrial hazards by applying professional ethics.
PEO2:Adapt industrial safety engineering principles and technologies to work effectively in multidisciplinary industrial environments such as manufacturing, construction, chemical, and service sectors.
PEO3:Develop the ability to manage safety-related problems individually and as a team member with effective communication, leadership, and decision-making skills in the workplace.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO):

PSO1:  Apply acquired knowledge and skills to identify hazards, conduct risk assessment, implement safety measures, and ensure compliance with industrial safety standards, health regulations, and environmental norms.
PSO2:Pursue higher education, professional certifications, or career advancement in the fields of Industrial Safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Fire Safety Engineering, and Risk Management.

About Department:

The Department of Industrial Safety is established with the objective of developing competent safety professionals to meet the growing demand of industries. Nashik, being a rapidly developing industrial hub with multiple MIDC areas and thousands of industries, requires skilled safety professionals to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with statutory regulations.

The department functions under experienced faculty and industry experts who guide students in technical, industrial, and safety management aspects. The Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety is a one-year full-time program designed as per MSBTE guidelines to bridge the gap between industrial growth and safety requirements.


Academics:
The department provides quality education focused on industrial safety, health, and environmental management. The teaching methodology includes:
